Man Utd still prioritizing a move for PSG midfielder

Earlier, various reports in the English media insisted that Manchester United have cooled down their interest in Ligue 1 side PSG’s Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte amidst the French club demanding a hefty chunk of transfer fee for the player. Reports had it that United are now looking for other options to solve their midfield dilemma.

However, football transfer market expert – ‘Fabrizio Romano’, (via PlayBack) has insisted that Ugarte is still Manchester United’s ‘priority’ in the ongoing 2024 summer transfer window. Romano inflicts that despite the Premier League club dwelling on the other options as well in recent times, they are still ‘waiting’ and keen on PSG’s decision on Manuel Ugarte.

Reports signify that United has agreed upon personal terms with the 23-year-old midfielder but PSG’s hefty valuation of around €60 million for him is catering to be a stumbling block.
