Man Utd make enquiry for Chelsea outcast
The Red Devils have reportedly made an approach for Chelsea’s unwanted defender Trevoh Chalobah who would be forcing his way out of Stamford Bridge this summer. The Chelsea academy graduate was left out of the club’s pre-season tour in the United States.
The England international is disappointed to be left out of Chelsea’s squad and manager Enzo Maresca likely has no plans to involve him in the regular season. Man United are currently in the market for a few defensive reinforcements and has made an inquiry for Chalobah.
Trevoh Chalobah could prove to be a cost-effective option compared to other targets like Matthijs de Ligt and Jarrad Branthwaite and his versatility will be key for United boss Erik Ten Hag.
