Man Utd enter in the race for Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana
Manchester United are moving smartly in this summer’s transfer window, with a new central midfielder their key priority ahead of the new season.
The Red Devils have apparently reached a deadlock in their discussions with Paris Saint-Germain for Manuel Ugarte and are ready to move forward to their next target in the same position, Youssouf Fofana.
AC Milan were reported to be very close to signing Fofana for €15 million (£12.6 million) plus add-ons, but the situation has changed since Manchester United has showcased their interest in the player.
According to Sky Sport Italy, the Ligue 1 club has raised their asking price for the player to €35 million (£29.5 million) following growing interest in the France international.
