Mallorca 1-5 Barcelona: Player Ratings as Raphinha and de Jong star for the visitors in a thumping away win
Mallorca hosted Barcelona at the Estadi de Son Moix in La Liga on December 3 and spectacularly crumbled to a 5-1 defeat at home against the league leaders.
Barcelona made a great start to the contest as Ferran Torres gave them an early lead after just 12 minutes. However, despite dominating possession in the first half, Barca were unable to double their advantage as they met a resilient Mallorca defence. Instead, the hosts levelled the contest on the cusp of half-time via Vedat Muriqi.
Raphinha restored Barcelona’s lead six minutes after the interval from a penalty. The Brazilian made it a brace with a well-taken goal in the 74th minute, and Frenkie de Jong made it four just five minutes later. Pau Victor rounded off the scoring in a huge win.
On that note, here are the player ratings.
