Luton Town vs Man United Match Preview
Man United travel to face Luton Town at the Kenilworth Road this weekend in the Premier League. The two sides are in contrasting forms, and the away side should come out as the winners.
Luton Town have won just once in their last five matches and have lost twice. They were favorites to win the match against Sheffield United at home last week but ended up losing 3-1 in the relegation six-pointer.
Rob Edwards will be hoping for a miraculous result this weekend when Manchester United visit. They are out of the relegation zone but are just a point above Everton, who currently sit 19th.
The Hatters can put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three. A win this weekend would see them jump two places to 15th – level with Crystal Palace, but Luton have a better goal difference.
Man United are on a three-match winning run and will be looking to keep it going. They have moved to sixth in the table but are still five points behind 5th placed Aston Villa, who they beat 2-1 last week, and six behind Tottenham, who occupy the final UEFA Champions League spot.
Erik ten Hag’s men currently have a goal difference of zero, the worst in the top seven. All other sides above them have scored 50+ goals this season, but the Red Devils are scored just 33 times.
The visit to Luton Town would be a good time for them to get some goals under the belt and Rasmus Hojlund has found his form at the right time. He has scored in each of his last five matches in all competitions and will be the one to keep an eye on.

Team News & Predicted Lineups
Luton Town duo Marvelous Nakamba and Mads Andersen have been ruled of the match against Manchester United. They are still recovering from their injuries, and they are not close to making a return.
Daiki Hashioka remains a doubt for the Hatters – he is yet to make his debut for the club since joining in the winter window. Club captain Tom Lockyer is also out of the match as he continues his recovery after his unfortunate incident in the match against Bournemouth.
Rob Edwards will be going into the game with his typical 3-4-2-1 formation to try and attack Manchester United down the wing. Kaminski should keep his place in goal, with Mengi, Osho, and Bell in front of him in defence.
Ogbene and Doughty will operate as the wing-backs with Arsenal loanee Lokonga and former Chelsea star Barkley in the heart of the midfield. Morris and Townsend are likely to start once again behind Adebayo, who is looking to get into double digits for this season.
Predicted XI: Kaminski, Mengi, Osho, Bell, Ogbene, Lokonga, Barkley, Doughty, Townsend, Morris, Adebayo
Erik ten Hag has admitted that Luke Show remains a doubt for the game but has not ruled out the Englishman from the Luton Town clash. He was taken off in the win over Aston Villa with the manager claiming that it was a precautionary substitution.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is also in a touch-and-go situation and will be facing a late fitness test. Anthony Martial, Tyrell Martial, Mason Mount and Lisandro Martinez are the four players who will not make the trip to Luton.
Andre Onana has been doing well in recent matches and should start once again this weekend. He will have Varane and Maguire playing in front of him with Dalot as the right-back. With Shaw doubtful and Malacia ruled out, Lindelof is expected to play as the left-back.
Mainoo has been in fine form and he will partner Casemiro in midfield. Garnacho and Rashford will start of the wings with Bruno Fernandes playing right behind Rasmus Hojlund to complete the starting XI.
Predicted XI: Onana, Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Lindelof, Casemiro, Mainoo, Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford, Hojlund
