Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid: Luis Enrique confirms the Frenchman’s departure
The grey-shaded rumours regarding Kylian Mbappe’s departure to Real Madrid are getting brighter each day. Currently, PSG manager Luis Enrique, implying that the player would leave the club shortly.
Mbappe’s contract with PSG will expire in the summer and it is believed that the former AS Monaco forward will join Real Madrid next season. Last night, the 25-year-old heroically brought Les Parisiens to the Champions League quarter-final with his brace against Real Sociedad.
Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid: What does it mean for PSG?
PSG lead the aggregate with four goals to one in total. After the match, Enrique said that Mbappe “won’t be here”, adding that he might do some experiments to build an alternative strategy on the pitch.
“Kylian, I am not discovering him today,” Enrique told TalkSport. “You already know my opinion on him. He’s the best player in the world. He’ll score 50 goals and provide 25 assists in any team with any coach and unfortunately he won’t be here in the near future so we will have to test other teammates of his.”
Previously, Enrique said that he would treat all of his players in a fair way. His decision on which players to put on the starting list, is based on the attitude and hard work. That is also the case with Mbappe.
“We have to get used to not playing with Kylian, sooner or later it’s going to happen,” Enrique said last week. “When I consider it appropriate, he will play or not play, as all coaches do with their players.

“I want maximum competitiveness for next season. I want every starting player in this PSG team to think that this is a great opportunity. That’s what I’m looking for this season and next season.”
Such a statement has made people speculate that the relationship between them is falling apart. On Saturday, Mbappe was substituted with Randal Kolo Muani during the half-time. Instead of sitting on the bench for the rest of the match, Mbappe was heading to the stand to sit alongside his mom.

Mbappe then denied any allegation about him not getting along with the manager. “I could never be a player who hides,” he said. “My relationship with the coach is good. There is no problem even if people might think that there is. I have many issues but the coach is not one of them.”
A never-ending summer speculation saga about Mbappe joining Real Madrid is likely to end. Multiple reports suggesting that both parties have reached a mutual verbal agreement, waiting for the signing to be formalised when the time comes.
BBC reported that Mbappe would join Madrid with a five-year deal, earning €15 million a year. Mbappe will also receive a €150 million signing bonus which will be paid during his five year period with Los Blancos.
