Liverpool 2-2 Manchester United: Player ratings as Amad scores late to snatch a point for the visitors after a thrilling match

Liverpool hosted Manchester United at Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday, January 5 and secured a comfortable win against their traditional rivals.

The first half was a cagey affair as the two teams nearly shared the ball equally, but neither team could carve out chances to score. With 14 shots between Liverpool and Manchester United, they managed just on shot on target apiece as they were tied 0-0 at half-time.

Lisandro Martinez gave the visitors an unexpected lead after 52 minutes, but Cody Gakpo brought the hosts level just nine minutes later. Mohamed Salah converted from the penalty spot in the 70^th minute to put Liverpool 2-1 up. However, Amad Diallo levelled the contest once again in the 80^th minute, and the game eventually ended 2-2.
