Liverpool 3-1 Leicester City player ratings as the Reds come from behind to secure full three points against the Foxes
Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the table to seven points after defeating Leicester City at the Anfield Stadium on Thursday in the 18th game of the Premier League. Mohammed Salah scored his 16th goal of the season as the Reds came from behind to defeat Leicester City 3-1 on the Boxing day.
It was with the help of Jordan Ayew that the visitors went ahead in the game around the sixth minute of the game. The Reds continuously knocked on the door but it was until Cody Gakpo‘s curling strike ended up behind the goalkeeper to given them an equaliser. Liverpool continued their run as just after the first half Curtis Jones gave them the lead. Mohammed Salah scored the final goal to make sure that the Reds take away full three points from their home stadium. Alexis Mac Allister was the star of the game with two assists and huge contributions in building the attacks.
