Liverpool to ‘break the bank’ for Virgil van Dijk Contract Renewal

The latest news from the homeland of Liverpool’s Monumental captain Virgil van Dijk means a joyful time ahead for the fans. As the Dutch outlet, De Telegraaf reported the Reds are willing to extend the contract of Van Dijk beyond this summer and are ready to ‘break the bank’ to meet his salary demands

The 33-year-old defender joined the club in 2018 and previously signed a fresh term in 2021. This term is expiring in the summer of 2025, making Virgil van Dijk a free agent. However, Liverpool are in no spirit to part ways with their pivotal player anytime soon and will be pleased to present him with a new proposal to devote his future at Anfield.
