Liverpool plan on hijacking Newcastle transfer for Marc Guehi

The Reds have been credited with an interest in Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, who had a sensational campaign with England at the Euro 2024 this summer. Newcastle United have showed a strong interest in the Englishman and have reportedly made their first move.

Guehi has entered the final two years of his contract and the 24-year-old has been monitored by some of the top clubs in Europe. Liverpool are in the market for a new centre-back following the departure of Joel Matip this summer.

The Englishman is reportedly valued at more than £70million by Crystal Palace as they are keen to let go of one of their prized assets this summer.
