Liverpool offers fresh contracts to Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold

The Egyptian International Mo Salah terms with Liverpool are set to expire at the end of the 2024/25 season. The 32-year-old winger will become a free agent in the summer along with Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander Arnold. According to the Atheltic correspondent David Ornstein, Liverpool has made an opening contract offer to Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold to reach an agreement for extending their stay beyond the summer of 2025.

Despite the significant developments, it’s still not certain that these players will continue at Anfield regardless of the ongoing talks. Since it will take some time to find common ground in the negotiation process. Especially, Salah and Virgil van Dijk have been exceptional for the Reds this season and the club hopes to seal their signature on newly proposed deals.
