Liverpool not interested in paying £70 million for Premier League defender

Liverpool are reportedly unwilling to pay Crystal Palace’s asking price for Marc Guehi. The Reds are reported to be keen on signing the former Chelsea star as they look to bolster their defense.

As per a report in Football Insider, Crystal Palace want £70 million to sign Guehi this summer. Liverpool are interested, but believe that the asking price is too high.

The Reds are looking at 19-year-old Juventus centre-back Dean Huijsen as an alternative. The teenager has been left out of the club’s pre-season squad and is reportedly available for transfer this summer.

However, the Reds see Huijsen as a player for the future and are still looking to sign a player who can make it to the first team this season.
