Liverpool interested in signing RB Leipzig’s Spain international midfielder

The Premier League club Liverpool is interested in signing the Bundesliga club RB Leipzig’s midfielder Dani Olmo. The Spain international’s current contract with the German club darts till June 2027. As per ‘The Mirror’, Liverpool is in the race alongside a few other Spanish clubs to potentially trigger the £50 million release clause in the player’s current contract.

The report by ‘Mirror’, also signifies that Dani Olmo’s release clause is set to expire on July 15, 2024. However, it is expected that it could be triggered before its expiration.

Dani Olmo has been the talk of the town after his excellent performances for Spain in the Euro 2024. The 26-year-old has three goals and two assists to his name in the tournament so far. He is now all set for the Euro final. It would be interesting to know what happens further with Liverpool’s interest in Dani Olmo.
