Liverpool in the running for defender Dean Huijsen

The Reds are expected to tick off one of their main transfer targets this summer. Juventus teenager Dean Huijsen is touted as a potential star by Liverpool who are keen to strengthen their defensive options.

The 19-year-old towering defender is under contract with Juventus until June 2028 and reports suggest that an offer between £20-25million will be enough to lure the youngster away from Turin.

Huijsen has played only 15 senior games, so Liverpool would definitely be banking on the defender to come good in the coming years. Liverpool are in the market for a left-sided centre-back following the departure of Joel Matip at the end of last season.
