Liverpool hopes to extend Mohamed Salah contract beyond summer 2025
Mohamed Salah is playing on a different level at the moment, racking up 10 goals and 10 assists across all competitions in this 2024/25 campaign. However, Egypt International’s contract situation is unclear amid the speculation offers from Saudi Arabia and no breakthrough between Liverpool and Salah upon the agreement of a fresh new contract.
According to journalist François Plateau, the fresh talks on the new deal between Liverpool and Salah are expected to take place during the ongoing International breaks as Salah will remain at the club premises after exempting the call-up for Egypt.
Currently, the 32-year-old is the highest-paid player at Anfield also in Liverpool’s history, earning £350,000 per week following his previous contract extension in 2022. Without a doubt, the winger is their most important player and letting him go despite dazzling performances this season and over the years, is worrying the Premier League giants.
