Liverpool has entered the race for Jonathan David

The Reds have entered the race for LOSC Lille striker Jonathan David and are prepared to offer him a long-term contract for the Canadian forward. A report suggests that Lille are holding out a fee in the region of €45m-€50m for the striker.

David would also be attracted to the idea of playing for a big club like Liverpool and would add more quality and depth to Arne Slot’s setup. He has only a year left on his Lille contract and has contributed towards 35 goals in all competitions last season.
