Liverpool eyeing Eberechi Eze transfer from Crystal Palace amid Tottenham competition

Liverpool are reported to be preparing a formal move for Crystal Palace superstar Eberechi Eze this summer.

Football Insider claim that the Reds are eyeing a move for the Englishman, however, Crystal Palace will definitely be demanding a fee in the similar range to what Bayern Munich shelled out for Michael Olise (£50.8m) earlier in the transfer window.

Moreover, the Reds will face competition from Tottenham, who are also said to be interested in signing the England international. Eze registered 17 goal contributions in 31 games (across all competitions) in the 2023-24 Premier League season.

This is not the first time that Liverpool are being linked with a move for the Englishman, with the Reds facing rejection in their past pursuits for the player too.
