Messi and Antonella Share Sweet Moment Ahead of Copa America 2024
Lionel Messi will be eager to add to his trophy cabinet in the coming summer as he prepares for yet another international tournament with Argentina. While the Copa America 2024 is still a couple of months away, Messi is still busy with the ongoing Major League Soccer (MLS) season representing Inter Miami. While the football season was at its peak, he took a break from the game and was enjoying a hot moment with his wife Antonella Roccuzzo as the couple spent valuable time in the swimming pool and was spotted kissing.

In a video posted on his Instagram account, Messi was seen taking a deep down into the swimming pool as he and his wife Antonella enjoyed a pre-summer break. The couple would then deep into the water with cameras following them. Messi then hugged his beautiful wife before kissing her inside the water of the swimming pool. The romantic moment captured was later posted by the Argentina skipper on his Instagram page where he has a whopping 503 million followers at the time of writing.
While spending time with his time in the United States, Messi will have a busy time to come in the coming weeks. The MLS season is just at the start, however, during the June international break he will have serious business in hand as Argentina get in the race to retain the Copa America title.
The 36-year-old has a big task in hand at Copa America where Argentina will be looking to win their 16th title in the continental event. They are placed in Group A along with Peru, Chile, and North American counterpart Canada. The extended version of the Copa America this year will see a total of 16 teams compete for the top honours in the United States.
The Sky Blues will be the favourites to advance from their group along with Chile while Peru are also one of the dark horses. They will kick start their Copa America 2024 campaign on June 20 against Canada at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. Their second match will be against Chile at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The group stage for Argentina will conclude on June 29 when they take on Peru at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
If Messi helps Argentina retain the Copa America title they will become the first team since Chile to retain the crown. Chile won the Copa America title in 2015 and 2016, beating Argentina in the final on both occasions.
