Leicester City suffered a major blow when hosting Aston Villa at home as the visitors won the game by two goals to nil. It was a convincing start from the host with the likes of Jamie Vardy and Harry Winks giving threats to Villa. However, it was the visitors who took the lead first with Amadou Onana whose goal stood until the break.
Villa put more nightmare to Leicester after Jhon Duran scored the visitors’ second goal two minutes after replacing Ollie Watkins. Leicester could only respond with Facundo Buonanotte, who cut the gap in the second half after five minutes of being on the pitch.
