Leicester City back out of Reiss Nelson transfer

The Foxes are no longer considering a move for Arsenal academy graduate Reiss Nelson as the forward is currently out of Leicester’s price bracket. Nelson has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter and has been linked with an exit this summer.

Leicester City are keen to reinforce their attack following their Premier League promotion, but have hit a roadblock in their pursuit of the 24-year-old and are currently focusing on alternatives.

Nelson only started one Premier League game in the 2023/24 season and his first-team opportunities have reduced massively at the Emirates. He still has three years left on his contract and a departure is imminent for the Arsenal striker.
