Lautaro Martinez contract renewal: Player’s father on the striker’s love for Inter Milan
Lautaro Martinez contract renewal looks set to be sealed. The player’s father, however, refused to reveal any financial numbers earlier this week. Rather, he wanted to focus on how much Martinez adores the club and the great city of Milan. He said (via GOAL):
“I don’t think the fans need to know the figures. I obviously only speak to Inter about that. There is talk of €12 or €14 million, but I repeat, these are issues between Lautaro and the club. Besides, these are numbers I never mentioned and neither did Inter. Why should we talk about this? Let us instead talk about his love for Inter. The fans must know that Lautaro loves the city of Milan and this team. Lautaro loves this club, so there is no need to worry.”
Lautaro Martinez has been at Inter since 2018. He has so far made 282 appearances for the Nerazzuri, scoring 129 goals and providing 43 assists. Fans will keep a keen eye on his future accolades with Inter.
