Kepa Arrizabalaga closer to Chelsea exit

Chelsea outcasted goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga is inching closer to a loan move to Bournemouth for the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign. The Spaniard spent the last season on loan at Real Madrid and hoped to secure a permanent exit from Chelsea this summer. 

Arrizabalaga earlier rejected an offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad and now English rivals Bournemouth are close to sealing a late move for the world’s most expensive goalkeeper.

Before he makes a move to Bournemouth, Chelsea will trigger a one-year extension to his contract as his current contract is due to expire next summer.
