Benfica defeated Juventus 0-2 at the Allianz Stadium on Wednesday in the final group stage game of the UEFA Champions League game. This result will not have any effect on either side as they have qualified for the playoffs in the new format of the competition.

Vangelis Pavlidis’ 16-th minute strike gave the Portuguese side a 1-0 lead over the Italian sides till the first half. After the break, Juventus continued to struggle, while Orkun Kokcu netted the second for Benfica after an assist from Pavlidis.
