The unbeaten streak of Juventus continues in the league as they get their first win of the year, thanks to goals from Mbangula and Weah. With this result, the Bianconeri move into the top four provisionally. A first defeat under the new manager Conceicao, Milan will want to dust this off and move on.

Both the sides battled fiercely in the half. Maignan made some crucial saves, including denying Yildiz, while Milan’s defence, led by Bennacer and Tomori, thwarted the attacks of the hosts. There were some close moments, when Gatti missed an easy chance to head the ball into the back of the net and a shot of Leao getting cleared off the line. While there was enough intent, neither side could capitalize it and had to go into the dressing rooms goal-less at the break.

Juventus continued to dominate and capitalized on the mistakes of the visitors.
