Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior could miss the second leg of Real Madrid vs Manchester City
Jude Bellingham is having a wonderful season with Real Madrid since arriving from Borussia Dortmund last summer. A top-class display from the 20-year old midfielder could be pivotal for Los Blancos to avenge their loss against Manchester City in the Champions League last year.
However, Bellingham could miss the second leg at Etihad if he picked up another yellow card in the first leg match. The Birmingham-born player has collected two yellows in the group stage, meaning the third one would prevent him from playing the decisive leg in Manchester.

To make things go worse for Madrid, that is also the case with several players such as Vinicius Junior, Eduardo Camavinga, and Aurelien Tchouameni. Carlo Ancelotti has to ensure that his players behave well if they are planning to stay full-team until the second leg.
Last season, Madrid surprisingly lost 0-4 at Etihad after playing a 1-1 draw at Santiago Bernabeu. This season’s scenario is pretty much the same in terms of home and away order. Before the game, Ancelotti suggested his players to play all out in order to step further in the competition.
“The important thing in tomorrow’s game is to get the best we can,” Ancelotti said via the club’s website. “The mental aspect is very important, as well as the courage and personality we have to show on the pitch. We’ve had time to prepare and we’ve done very well. I’m confident we’re going to give our best tomorrow in every way, mentally, physically and technically. We have enough quality to compete”.
