PSG makes contact with Bayern Munich for Joshua Kimmich
The French giants have renewed their interest in Bayern veteran Joshua Kimmich who has refused to sign a contract extension with the Bavarians in order to push for an exit this summer.
Kimmich has entered the final 12 months of his contract and has attracted interest from Manchester City, Manchester United and PSG in the last few weeks. PSG is reportedly considering bringing a player beside João Neves who has agreed personal terms with the French giants.
The 29-year-old midfielder has been the subject of intense transfer speculation following Germany’s exit from Euro 2024.
Did PSG contact Bayern over a possible summer move for Joshua Kimmich?
The Ligue 1 giants have recently contacted Bayern Munich to understand the present situation of Joshua Kimmich. According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, PSG have a serious interest in the German midfielder and could sign him next summer as a free agent.
PSG have also enquired about the player’s asking price and his salary demands but no concrete negotiations are happening at the moment. This will give Bayern Munich the last opportunity if they want to get a significant fee for the 29-year-old midfielder.
Kimmich has also been linked with a move to Manchester City and could reunite with Pep Guardiola at the Etihad.
