Former Premier League player Jlloyd Samuel’s wife claims Aston Villa star had a life behind her back
The widowed wife of Jlloyd Samuel believes that her husband was living a double life secretly before his death
Former Premier League player Jlloyd Samuel from the Midlands-based club Aston Villa died in a tragic car accident in the year 2018. Samuel was a defender and he played for other English club Bolton Wanderers as well. On the international stage, he represented Trinidad and Tobago.
However, recently the widowed wife of Jlloyd Samuel, Emma Pritchard has come out with some shocking revelations about the Premier League star. In a recently released Netflix documentary named ‘The Footballer’, Emma stated how after her 37-year-old husband’s death she came to know about the fact that he was secretly leading a double life behind her back

As per a report by ‘The Mirror’, Emma Pritchard reportedly inflicted -“I was trying to grieve my husband and find he has another life. Who is my husband – do I really know him?” The window then further pointed out how one of her friends made her aware of an Instagram account named after Helia Sehimi. The social account on which pictures of her late husband Samuel were all over the board.
Dwelling on Sehimi’s Instagram account, Emma stated –“There were even shots of Jlloyd that he’d sent to me on trips to Africa, with crocodiles and then I’d see another picture on Helia’s of her with Jlloyd in Africa with the crocodiles“. Embarking on her feelings, she asserted –“It was like a stab in the heart”. Emma opined that Jlloyd Samuel never discussed or asked for a divorce from her.
Citing about how their relationship was going Emma Pritchard conveyed – “As far as I was concerned we were fine, we were great”. She further pointed out – “The night before he (Samuel) passed away he was swinging me around the kitchen telling me how much he loved me”. It is believed by the reports that Samuel converted to Islam and got married to Sehimi in the year 2013.

Emma Pritchard was further alleged by the former Aston Villa player’s sister of faking Jlloyd Samuel’s death saga. However, as cited by ‘The Mirror’, reports did signify that the body was tipped to be of Samuel after he lost his life in that accident. To add fuel to the fire, as per a documentary aired in the year 2022 on ITV, Sahimi (the woman who Jlloyd Samuel reportedly married in 2013) also asserted that according to her belief, the former player is still alive.
