Jean-Clair Todibo agrees deal with West Ham United

Premier League giants West Ham United has reached to an agreement with Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo on a season-long loan with an option to make the deal permanent for about £27m.

The 24-year-old defender has attracted interest from the likes of Juventus and Manchester United but West Ham were the frontrunners in the Frenchman’s signature. However, there is still a possibility that Juventus can hijack the deal for the Ligue 1 defender.

The Frenchman has bounced back from his difficult time in Barcelona and has rediscovered his form since joining Nice in 2021. Todibo did not make the cut in the France squad for Euro 2024.
