Jayden Danns has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool
Liverpool have announced that teenager Jayden Danns has signed a new long-term contract at Anfield. Danns has been phenomenal at both youth and senior levels for the Reds.
The Reds graduate has excelled at the Under-21 level, bagging two goals and two assists from four appearances in Premier League 2 and has overalled tallied 21 goals at the youth level for Liverpool’s U18 and U21 sides.
The 18-year-old striker made his debut as a substitute against Luton Town in the Premier League and also featured in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley.
He also came off the bench in the 3-0 win against Southampton in the FA Cup and scored twice for the Merseyside giants.
Overall, Danns has made four senior appearances for his boyhood club and he’s expected to take up a distinguished role in plans for the future.
Liverpool have confirmed that they rewarded the England U-18 international with a new long-term contract but the length of which has not been disclosed.

“It’s a dream come true,” Danns said.
“I’ve supported the club since birth so to come on and score at the Kop end was unreal, it doesn’t feel real to me, it feels like I’m in a movie.”
The teenager becomes the fifth Liverpool player to pen a new deal this season following the likes of Ben Doak, Conor Bradley, Bobby Clark, and Kostas Tsimikas who signed their contracts earlier this season.
Danns became the club’s second-youngest goalscorer when he scored against Southampton in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
