Uefa Euro 2024 – Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp desperately being chased for a pundit role
Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season. This situation has opened another door of opportunity for the German, as two broadcasting giants ITV and BBC are chasing him to be a pundit.
There will be another football festival during the competition break this mid-year, EURO 2024. The two aforementioned broadcasting behemoths go head to head, to secure Klopp’s service in the studio.
“The UK’s two main broadcasters are known to be desperate to add Klopp to their line-ups for the summer showdown,” Mail Online reported. “They believe the charismatic Anfield boss would be a must-watch, marquee signing and would give their coverage for Uefa Euro 2024 the edge in the traditional battle for viewers.”

Jurgen Klopp’s shocking departure announcement from Liverpool
Klopp has announced his departure in January. This marks the end of a nine-year era of ups and downs for Liverpool across the competition. Since joining in 2015, the former Mainz defender has won any possible titles for The Reds, including the Premier League trophy.
“I can understand that it’s a shock for a lot of people in this moment, when you hear it for the first time, but obviously I can explain it – or at least try to explain it,” he said through the club’s official announcement. “I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our supporters, I love the team, I love the staff. I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take.
“It is that I am, how can I say it, running out of energy. I have no problem now, obviously, I knew it already for longer that I will have to announce it at one point, but I am absolutely fine now. I know that I cannot do the job again and again and again and again.”
