Inter Milan 1-1 Napoli player ratings as Hakan Calhanoglu’s missed penalty forces the Nerazzurri to settle for a draw

The clash between two Italian giants, Inter Milan and Napoli ended in a 1-1 draw at the San Siro stadium on Sunday. Scott Mctominay gave Antonio Conte’s side the lead around the 23rd minute before Hakan Calhanoglu grabbed the equaliser around the end of the first half. Inter Milan fans would be disappointed after Calhanoglu hit the crossbar from the spot, which if converted could have been the winner in the game.

Before this game the Turkish international had scored all of his previous penalties including the winner against Arsenal in the midweek but was not able to convert this one. Simone Inzaghi’s side would have displaced Napoli as the table toppers if they had won the game.

As we head into the international break, this draw secured the position for Napoli at the top of the table with 26 points, one more than the next four teams behind them.

Lets have a look at Inter Milan vs Napoli player ratings.
