Inter Milan interested in Manchester United star but bound by 3 obstacles
Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United striker Anthony Martial this January.
Martial’s contract with Manchester United expires in the summer and the club are unwilling to extend it. Hence, the Frenchman could leave as a free agent in the summer and is eligible to sign a pre-contract with a foreign club now.
According to The Athletic, Martial has rejected three transfer offers already, which came from Olympique Marseille, Fenerbahce, and some Saudi Arabian clubs. The French striker is looking to run down his Manchester United contract and look for options in the summer.

As per Calciomercato, Inter Milan have now shared their interest in signing Martial. The Italian giants currently lead the Serie A table and are looking to add firepower to their attack.
However, they are faced with two obstacles if they are to sign Martial. The Nerazzurri’s pursuit of the Frenchman will depend on their ability to part ways with Alexis Sanchez. Some Saudi clubs have been linked with a move for the Chilean attacker.
Moreover, Inter Milan will need to convince Martial to take a major pay cut. Finally, the Italian side are hoping to sign him for free or offer just a nominal fee for Manchester United.
It will be interesting to see if Martial does leave the Red Devils this January after an eight-and-a-half-year spell.
