Inter Miami vs New York City Player Ratings as the match ends in a stalemate
The two North American giants battled out each other in the first MLS game after the international break on Saturday, March 30 at the Chase Stadium. Luis Suarez scored the only goal for the Herons in a 1-1 draw with New York City FC.
In the first half, the two goals of the game were scored, with Inter Miami trying to have better control of the ball and the game was perhaps Inter Miami’s best defensive effort of the season. Playing Sergio Busquets at the heart of defense added a new dimension to a poor Herons defence who succumbed to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of the New York Red Bulls last week.
Inter Miami were without the likes of Nicolas Freire, Serhiy Krvystov, Federico Redondo and superstar Lionel Messi going into the game. But despite missing several players in the squad, Miami earned a point as they look ahead to get ready for the next round of the CONCACAF Champions Cup.
