Inter Miami 1-1 Charlotte FC player ratings as the game settles for a draw after Lionel Messi’s equaliser

Inter Miami salvaged a point against Charlotte FC after Lionel Messi’s strike in the second half to end the game with a 1-1 scoreline. This was their third straight draw following a five-match winning streak. The visitors took the lead in the 57th minute after Karol Swiderski deflecter Brandt Bronico’s effort beyond the Inter Miami goalkeeper.

Lionel Messi tied the game in the 67th minute when he lasered a shot from beyond the box that seemed unstoppable for the Charlotte goalkeeper. This was the superstar’s 15th goal of the season and was his third goal in four matches since his return form a two-month long injury.
