Iceland 2-2 Wales player ratings as Wales squander a two goal lead to settle for a draw

Iceland had a furious second half to score two goals and salvage a draw against Wales in the Nations League in Reykjavik. Brennan Johnson scored the first for Wales before a lofted pass from left back Neco Williams was netted by Wilson to make the score 2-0.

Iceland had multiple opportunities to score but was not able to convert. Substitute Logi Tomasson scored one back with a low strike and then three minutes later brought the score to level terms after his cross was turned into an own goal by Danny Ward.

Despite this draw Wales remain second in their group with five points , two behind leaders Turkey who won 1-0 against Montenegro while Iceland are third with four points.
