Egypt 2-0 Mauritania: Player ratings as Trezeguet and Salah combine to secure win for the Pharaohs

Egypt overcame Mauritania 2-0 in their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, courtesy of second-half goals from Mahmoud Trezeguet and Mohamed Salah. The Pharaohs were the more menacing side that created the better chances and mustered 16 shots, of which six were on target. However, they initially struggled to break down the Lions of Chinguetti, who held firm and weathered the storm.
