How to watch Carabao Cup Final | Chelsea vs Liverpool

Liverpool will take on Chelsea in the 2023-24 Carabao Cup final at Wembley on Sunday, February 25.

The Reds, who are competing on all four fronts, will look to get their hands on their first trophy of the season on Sunday. They are currently at the top of the Premier League table, four points above second-placed Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

Liverpool have also reached the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 and the fifth round of the FA Cup. With Jurgen Klopp set to leave at the end of the season, the Merseysiders will be determined to win all four trophies.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have had a poor season in the Premier League so far as they sit 10th in the table. However, they have done well in the cup competitions, having reached the Carabao Cup final and the FA Cup fifth round.

They come into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad while Liverpool beat Luton Town 4-1 at home in their last game, both in the Premier League.

Liverpool and Chelsea faced off in the final of domestic cup competitions twice in the 2021-22 season – the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup. The Reds won both of them on penalties after the match ended goalless after extra time.

The two sides have already faced off twice this season in the Premier League, with one game ending in a draw and the other ending in a 4-1 win for Liverpool. Chelsea will hope to take their revenge this time around on Sunday.

Both sides are without some key players but the Reds are still arguably the favorites to win the trophy.

Liverpool have won the Carabao Cup the most number of times in history – 9. Meanwhile, Chelsea have won the trophy five times.
