Harry Kane’s Goals and Assists this season for FC Bayern Munich
England captain Harry Kane has hit the ground running in the German Bundesliga after taking the top flight with a storm. Kane, having come to Bayern after a record $100 million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur is already scoring goals for fun and has a couple of hat-tricks to his name in the Bundesliga. However, it is just not his goals but his assists that are making the headlines helping FC Bayern Munich stay in the hunt for a record 12th consecutive Bundesliga title.
Harry Kane’s goal this season
At the time of writing Kane has scored 28 goals in all competitions for the German giants including 24 goals in the Bundesliga. He has averaged a goal per game having played 28 matches in all competitions since his big-money transfer. On the other hand, his Bundesliga record is impressive scoring his 24 goals in 21 matches. He averages more than a goal per match, proving his worth to the side.
Comparing Kane’s stats to Robert Lewandowski’s 41-goal record season, the English striker is well on route to break that tally. After 20 Bundesliga matches, Kane has 24 goals, the same as that of Lewandowski’s tally in the 2020-21 season. Kane’s experience in the Premier League could be a decisive factor for him to reach the tally of 42 goals in the season. However, the best Premier League season was also a 30-goal campaign in 2022-23 and 2016-17, but considering the level of opposition he should be on par to get closer to the Polish striker.
Interestingly, Stuttgart’s Serhou Guirassy is second on the list for most Bundesliga goals in the 2023-24 season with 17.

Harry Kane assists this season
While the talk has been about Kane’s goals tally, he is not sitting far on the assists chart and has seen his name on the list. In 21 matches in the Bundesliga so far he has five assists proving to be a vital tool in the Bayern arsenal. In terms of assists, he has been the third-best for the record German champions with Leroy Sane (11) and Thomas Muller (7) sitting above him. He played a crucial role in delivering assists during his stint with Tottenham in the previous campaigns. Kane has three assists in the Champions League taking his tally to a combined eight so far in the campaign.
Kane’s 29-goal involvement is also the highest in the German top flight this season making him the best individual in the league.
Harry Kane’s shots on target this season
Inevitable by his high standards, Kane is having a dream season in the land of four-time World Champions. Along with 29-goal involvements, the 30-year-old striker has 84 shots on the goal, with only one of which hitting the frame of the goal. This equals four shots per game along with a goal. The unmatched stats prove his worth in front of the goal and highlight why he is one of the best in the business.
