Harry Kane eyes silverware: “The main goal is to win titles!”

Harry Kane has set his sights on winning titles with Bayern Munich this season, after a disappointing debut campaign at the Allianz Arena.

Despite an impressive 44 goals and 12 assists in 45 appearances last season, the England captain couldn’t lead Bayern to any silverware, raising questions about whether the club’s €95 million investment in him was justified.

New era under Vincent Kompany for Harry Kane

With Vincent Kompany now at the helm, Bayern Munich are gearing up for what could be a transformative season. Kane believes this change could be the key to unlocking the club’s potential and finally bringing trophies back to Bavaria.

“I want to keep scoring goals and help the team. But the main goal is to win titles. We have to get Bayern back to winning titles. That’s my goal, and that’s the club’s goal,” Kane told SportBild.

“We have a great coach, a lot of fresh energy, and high intensity in training. You will see that in the games too.”

Kane is excited about the new approach under Kompany and is confident that Bayern’s attacking style will create plenty of opportunities for him to find the back of the net.

“I’m very excited to see how it goes. We’ll have a lot of the ball and get a lot of chances. For me, that’s the perfect way to play. I hope I’ll get a lot of chances and put a few of them away.”

As Bayern Munich embark on this new chapter, all eyes will be on whether they can reclaim the Bundesliga crown from Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen or make a deep run in the Champions League with the final set to be played at their home ground.

Kane is determined to ensure that this season ends with him lifting his first career trophy.
