Real Madrid returned to winning ways at the Estadio Montilivi on Saturday after defeating Girona 0-3 take advantage of Barcelona’s draw against Real Betis in the La Liga. Girona started the game better than the visitors as they maintained pressure and continued with their attacks. Real Madrid slowly grew into the game and Jude Bellingham drew the first blood in the 36th minute. The English international pounced upon a loose ball around the penalty box and gave the lead.

The second half was all about Real Madrid as Jude Bellingham set up Arda Guler for a goal and Modric with his outside of his boot found Kylian Mbappe who despite being in a tight angle found the back of the net to be the highest goal scorer in the team with nine goals

Donny van de Beek: 6.7/10- Played a decent game for his team. He got the ball back on the right wing and flashed it across goal, hoping for Miovski to just get a touch on it but he was unable to. He got another chance through the right channel, where he took a shot on from a tight angle but went over the cross bar

Bryan Gil: 6.1/10- During the first half he was visible and exerted a lot of pressure from the left side of the wing but in the second half he was not that much dominant as Madrid started to control the game. He had a shot from out the box which went wide of the cross bar.

Yaser Asprilla: 7.0/10- From the right wing he was pretty much active in the first half as Girona were completely in control of the play. During that time he cuts in onto his left foot from the right wing and takes the shot on, but hits it well wide of the target. He gave a great pass to Van De Beek for a shot but was high above the goal.

Bojan Miovski: 6.3/10- The striker did not have much to do as he did not take a single shot on goal. He had 21 touches in total and made one pass into the final third.

Arnaut Danjuma: 6.3/10- He was subbed on in place of Bryan Gil in attack around the 58th minute. He hit a shot but his cross-shot attempt was an easy save for Courtois.

Jude Bellingham: 8.8/10- He was taken off as he was struggling with an injury and Ancelotti chose not to take any rish. Scored the first goal for his team as he was present at the right place at the right time. He also assisted the goal of Arda Guler.

Attackers

Arda Guler: 8.1/10- Scored the second goal for his team. He was played forward by Bellingham and defeated the Girona defenders with pace and calmly fired it across the goal to the far post with his left foot.
