Giorgi Mamardashvili set for Liverpool medical ahead of transfer

The 23-year-old Georgian goalkeeper will spend the upcoming season on loan at Valencia allowing him to continue his development in La Liga before joining Liverpool in July 2025.
The deal worth β¬30 million with an additional β¬5 million in easily achievable add-ons includes a six-year contract for Mamardashvili securing his long-term future at Anfield.
Valencia will also benefit from a 10% sell-on clause should Liverpool decide to part ways with the talented shot-stopper in the future.
Mamardashvili impressed during Georgia’s run to the European Championship last 16 and his 13 clean sheets in 37 La Liga appearances last season highlighted his potential.
With Alisson Becker firmly established as Liverpool’s No. 1 and Caoimhin Kelleher as the backup Mamardashvili is expected to challenge for a spot in the first team upon his arrival next summer.
