“Garnacho has been a breath of fresh air,” Giggs shared on the Webby and O’Neill podcast. “But remember, he is a young player and there will be dips. You can’t expect him to be brilliant every game.” Giggs’ words reflect his belief in Garnacho’s potential, while also reminding fans to be patient as the youngster continues to develop.

Competition heats up in United’s attack

Giggs also touched on the growing competition within Manchester United’s frontline.

“Marcus has got to back himself and this is what we want; competition for places,” Giggs added. “Garnacho (and) Diallo should raise the standards of the likes of Marcus, Antony, Sancho.”
