Germany will host Netherlands in the last of their two international Friendlies this month in preparation for the UEFA Euro 2024 on home soil. Germany secured an emphatic 2-0 win over France in their last game ending their three-game winless run.
Germany automatically qualified for the Euros this summer as hosts of the tournament. But the German National Football Team have only achieved six victories from their last 22 fixtures on the international stage and will now conclude their international break with a home game against Netherlands on Tuesday.
Netherlands came second in the group finishing behind Greece, Ireland, and Gibraltar in the qualifying group, and ended the year on a positive note by comfortably qualifying for the European Championships. They won six and lost two of their 8 games in the Qualifiers. In recent times, The Oranje has come up short when facing teams with similar prestige on the European stage.
