Germany and Julian Nagelsmann had a great start to their UEFA Euro 2024 campaign. With a scintillating 5-1 win over Scotland, they showed the world that they mean business in the early stages of the tournament. The home side topped it up with another win over Hungary in their second Group A fixture. While Nagelsmann’s on-field tactics and game planning continue to lurk in lauders, his off-the-field personal life also isn’t sort of gathering eyeballs.
Julian Nagelsmann’s girlfriend Lena Wurzenberger was spotted in the stands of the Allianz Arena during Germany’s clash against Scotland. She was reportedly lending her support to Nagelsmann and his team. As per reports, Lena is a journalist by profession. She and the German national team manager met while she was working on her journalist stint.

Lena was involved as a worker with a German newspaper named Bild. The newspaper agency is claimed to be the largest in the country. It was during the initial period of her job with Bild that she reportedly started dating Julian Nagelsmann. Lena covered Bundesliga teams such as Bayern Munich and Weder Bremen in her stint as a journalist. Apparently, Nagelsmann has managed Munich in his managerial career.
The duo reportedly saw their relationship enhanced further when the German team manager split with his former wife known by the name of Verena. The marriage lasted for about 15 years, and Nagelsmann shares two kids with Verena.
Lena Wurzenberger was reportedly exiled from reporting on Bundesliga club Bayern Munich
During the middle part of the year 2022, the duo’s bonding hit a stride as several reports of them sharing some close moments together in Ibiza surfaced online. It was then, when their relationship came to major limelight, Lena Wurgenberger’s newspaper removed her from any further reporting on the German club Bayer Munich. As per reports, the same newspaper has earlier covered the marriage split of Julian Nagelsmann with his partner.
The newspaper Bild further published an article projected towards Lena and Nagelsmann’s bonding and reportedly labelled it as – “Julian Nagelsmann loves Bild reporter”. The newspaper agency also made it public that they had exiled Lena from her job after coming to know the whereabouts of her relationship with Julian Nagelsmann.
As per a report from ‘OK!’, Lena Wurgenberger will be quitting her job as a Police reporter in Germany to become a ‘Spokeswoman’ for the German-based global luxury vehicles manufacturer BMW.
