Throughout his time playing for Internacional and the Brazil national team, Gabriel Carvalho has displayed a level of maturity and defensive prowess that seems well beyond his years. By and large, his decision-making and fluidity make it seem as though he has been playing at the highest level for many years now.

Despite being a teenager, his understanding of the game specifically as an attacking or right midfielder, saw him likened to club captain Alan Patrick. Initially, the youngster was brought in after Patrick’s injury, but owing to his raw talent and versatility, managed to keep his spot, even after the former’s return.

In addition to this, Carvalho has seamlessly made the jump up to senior football, dealing with all aspects like pace, physicality, and intelligence required to thrive in a competitive environment. It is because of these qualities, that the youngster is held in such high regard.

According to experts, Gabriel Carvalho’s key attributes lie in his ability to improvise and adapt to what the team needs from him. As such, the player is capable of utilizing his ball control and dribbling ability to create opportunities for his side down the middle of the pitch or, while playing off the right, do his best to create opportunities in front of goal. Not only that, Carvalho has also shown hints of great predatory awareness to latch onto loose balls and create a goal-scoring opportunity for himself.

At the same time, he is beginning to understand how to position himself offensively when playing off the right so that he can arrive at the back post at opportune moments to score. By and large, Gabriel Carvalho has a number of very effective attributes which, under the right manager and in the right setting can be honed quite well. That said, there is still a lack of complete identity in the player and his role, which is something expected to be worked on, following his move to Al Qadsiah.

Gabriel Carvalho’s EA FC Rating

Currently, Gabriel Carvalho is yet to receive a card in EA FC 25. Owing to his short time in senior football, it is understandable that there is a lot to be seen from the youngster before he can be added to the game.

That said, the coming seasons could see Carvalho significantly increase his rating, especially if he lives up to the promise he has shown in recent times. As such, the player’s return from injury and subsequent start to life in the Saudi League will boost the player’s rating as well.

Gabriel Carvalho’s Net Worth & Salary

For the most part, the contract and salary details of academy and youth players are never made public. Owing to the budding ages of the young talents, their minds are usually veered off of contract details, salaries, bonuses, and such. Thus, it is difficult to arrive at an estimated salary or net worth for Vitor Reis.

However, with the youngster having signed on for $16 million last month, one can expect him to earn a solid weekly wage, purely based on the club he has signed on to. With clubs in the Saudi League infamous for luring people to the country with lucrative deals, it is safe to say that Carvalho is likely set to make some life-changing money at Al Qadsiah.

Conclusion

By all means, Gabriel Carvalho is one future star that we must keep an eye out for. With a big move up for the Brazilian, it will be interesting to see how he takes to life in the Saudi League. At the same time, he will find himself in good company with a number of South American players in the squad and in the league as well. Further, superstars like Nacho Fernandez and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be expected to take the youngster under their wing and oversee his development into a top player.

While some may feel as though Gabriel Carvalho is set to waste his career by going to the Saudi League like other young stars, including Jhon Duran recently, the reality is much more complex than that. While the Saudi League may seem like a retirement home for former superstars, it is also a good opportunity for youngsters, especially those who come from poorer families to make some generational wealth. At the same time, there is the safety net of being able to return to the top flight in a few years’ time, and they would still be the same age as some of the top stars in the world right now.
