FPL Price Changes – Rises, Falls and Most Transfers In/Out For GW 25
Gameweek 25 of the Fantasy Premier League season is upon us and it is important to look at how the last GW went. Gameweek 24 took place last weekend and threw up several interesting things to take note of. The stars of the show in the previous GW were Mo Salah of Liverpool who managed a tally of 29 points, Beto of Everton had a total of 21 points while James Tarkowski of Everton also managed a tally of 17 points. The highlight of the weekend is the fact that it is a double gameweek for both Aston Villa and Liverpool. Villa play Ipswich Town in their first game while Liverpool play Wolves. The two sides close out the gameweek by playing each other. Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur who are both struggling also play each other.
FPL risers
Player | Club | Price |
Morgan Gibbs-White | Nottingham Forest | £6.5m |
Chris Wood | Nottingham Forest | £7.1m |
Milos Kerkez | Bournemouth | £5.0m |
Justin Kluivert | Bournemouth | £5.9m |
Antoine Semenyo | Bournemouth | £5.7m |
Morgan Gibbs-White (Nott’m Forest) £6.5m

Only Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest players have risen this month and which says a lot. There could be a fair argument that Morgan Gibbs White is Forest’s best player. He has made the attacking midfield spot his own in the team and is a very well rounded footballer who has netted 5 times and assisted 4 more this season but that’s barely it. He also controls the games, runs tirelessly and tracks back to put in the hard tackles and blocks. FPL managers are now realizing his worth and bringing him in and it possibly wouldn’t be long before managers of big teams do the same.
Chris Wood (Nottingham Forest) £7.1m

If someone asserts that they knew Chris Wood would perform this season like he has, they are either a psychic or simply not telling the truth. Indeed, Wood currently holds the record for the most goals scored for Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. He has propelled the club into the Champions League spots with his 17 goals and 2 assists. Last weekend, he achieved a stunning hat trick against Brighton in a 7-0 victory. He has already surpassed his total from last season and will aim to keep scoring as Forest attempts to reach Europe. In FPL, he’s hot property at the moment.
Justin Kluivert (Bournemouth) £5.7m

Justin Kluivert is a player of great intrigue who has experienced a very engaging career. In fact, he is among only two active players who have scored in all of Europe’s top 5 leagues. Nevertheless, it can be said that it is at Bournemouth where he has truly excelled. This season, he already boasts 13 goal contributions in the Premier League. Three of these goals were scored last week against Newcastle, marking his second hat trick of the season. That would provide him with a significant boost in confidence, and with favorable fixtures ahead, it may be an excellent opportunity to bring the Dutchman with the renowned surname into your team.
FPL fallers
Player | Club | Price |
Mykhailo Mudryk | Chelsea | £6.1m |
Levi Colwill | Chelsea | £4.4m |
Jean-Philippe Mateta | Crystal Palace | £7.3m |
Jorgen Strand Larsen | Wolves | £5.2m |
Anthony Gordon | Newcastle | £7.6m |
Anthony Gordon (Newcastle) £7.6m

FPL is a very unforgiving game. If you don’t have the players who are playing well at that instant, you risk falling behind in your mini leagues and overall rankings. That’s what Anthony Gordon is suffering from since the winger has not been on the scoresheet in his last 3 games. But the likes of Antoine Semenyo, Justin Kluivert and Morgan Gibbs White are all in fantastic form presently as both their teams and themselves come in cheaper as well.
Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) £7.3m

Jean Phillipe Mateta’s case isn’t particularly different to that of Gordon. The French striker is having a good season, and he’s in tremendous form. In fact, he’s scored 5 times in his last 4 Premier League appearances. But the way FPL is currently, the likes of Alexander Isak and Chris Wood are must haves. Liverpool have had a couple of double gameweeks recently meaning people have brought Cody Gakpo in and Aston Villa have one too meaning the same for Ollie Watkins. This means that Mateta has simply become a sacrificial lamb for that.
Mykhailo Mudryk (Chelsea) £6.1m

Mykhailo Mudryk being on this list is no surprise as he is suspended due to failing doping tests. Even before that he had failed to impress in his stint at Chelsea. But what is undeniable, was the Ukrainian’s talent and raw ability. His pace and vision promised a great player but ultimately it was a case of moving to an unstable club too quickly in his career. While the case goes on, it remains to be seen what happens to the player once it’s all done.
