Gameweek 24 of the Fantasy Premier League season is soon going to be upon us. In the context of that it is important to look at how the last GW went. Gameweek 23 took place last weekend and threw up several interesting things to take note of. The stars of the show in the previous GW were Dango Outtara of Bournemouth who managed a tally of 21 points against Nottingham Forest, Cody Gakpo of Liverpool who had a total of 16 points versus Ipswich Town and Lisandro Martinez of Manchester United who too managed a tally of 15 points. The highlight of the weekend is the fact that it is a double gameweek for both Everton and Liverpool, the first double gameweek of the season. Everton play Leicester City in their first game while Liverpool play in form Bournemouth. The two sides close out the gameweek with a Merseyside derby.

Jordan Pickford | Everton | £5.1m |
Milos Kerkez | Bournemouth | £4.9m |
Justin Kluivert | Bournemouth | £5.7m |

Cody Gakpo (Liverpool) £7.6m
A considerable amount of Liverpool’s attacking output this season has come from Mo Salah. Nonetheless, there are other players contributing as the Reds have ascended to the top of the table. Cody Gakpo is one of those players. He has netted 8 goals and delivered 3 assists. This is a perfect moment to consider placing a wager on him. Diogo Jota is presently sidelined due to injury concerns, and Arne Slot does not seem to value Darwin Nunez’s skills greatly. The forthcoming matches for Liverpool are also advantageous to capitalize on. They are facing a double gameweek against Bournemouth and Everton, where Gakpo is expected to excel.
Iliman Ndiaye (Everton) £5.5m
This marks Iliman Ndiaye’s inaugural entry in this list. The swift ascent that the Everton forward has experienced is truly impressive. Only a few years back, he was participating in non-league football, and he has since excelled in the Championship, Ligue 1, and currently the Premier League. He can be considered Everton’s finest player. He has netted 5 goals in the Premier League to date, making him the Toffees’ leading scorer. He has found the net twice in two matches, and with Everton facing a double game week, he is a valuable asset to possess.

Justin Kluivert (Bournemouth) £5.7m
Justin Kluivert is a player of great intrigue who has experienced a very engaging career. In fact, he is among only two active players who have scored in all of Europe’s top 5 leagues. Nevertheless, it can be said that it is at Bournemouth where he has truly excelled. This season, he already boasts 13 goal contributions in the Premier League. Three of these goals were scored last week against Newcastle, marking his second hat trick of the season. That would provide him with a significant boost in confidence, and with favorable fixtures ahead, it may be an excellent opportunity to bring the Dutchman with the renowned surname into your team.

Wout Faes | Leicester | £3.9m |
Noussair Mazraoui () | Man Utd | £4.3m |
Joao Felix | Chelsea | £5.9m |
Andre Onana | Man Utd | £5.0m |
Joao Pedro | Brighton | £5.5m |
Andre Onana (Man Utd) £5.0m
Manchester United will possess ample confidence following a couple of victories against the likes of Fulham and Rangers in succession. Andre Onana, however, after a remarkable beginning to the season, has faced a difficult spell of form in recent weeks. He will also feel the pressure given the fact that he has made a few high profile errors in the recent past, . Nevertheless, the Cameroonian is anticipated to retain his position and secure an improvement in form to spur his team on.
Noussair Mazraoui (Man Utd) £4.3m
Manchester United is currently in a very contradictory situation. While it seems they are under capable leadership with Ruben Amorim, they find themselves in the lower portion of the league standings. Mazraoui is expected to be part of a three-man defense, with wingbacks playing an essential role. The Moroccan is an exceptionally intelligent player and has been one of United’s best performers this season. However, with Patrick Dorgu expected to come in at Old Trafford, the competition for places will increase, potentially preferring other players.
Joao Felix (Chelsea) £5.9m
Chelsea have had a good season so far, yet Joao Felix has not benefited from this streak. The revival of Jadon Sancho has resulted in him and Noni Madueke being rotated alongside the lineup’s fixtures, which include Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, and Pedro Neto. It appears that Felix’s experience at Chelsea mirrors his time at Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, characterized by brief instances of brilliance surrounded by inconsistency. Up to this point, he has played merely 364 minutes in the Premier League, contributing one goal and one assist. He likely leaves, maybe even in this window.
