The Premier League will return after a two-week break and the fans could not be more excited for the upcoming round of fixtures. Manchester United will take on Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday which will undoubtedly be the highlight of matchday 25. Here is a detailed comprehensive analysis of the fitness and availability record of the 20 Premier League teams ahead of matchday 25.

Arsenal

Kai Havertz (Hamstring Injury), Bukayo Saka (Hamstring Injury), Gabriel Jesus (Cruciate Ligament Injury), Gabriel Martinelli (Hamstring Injury) and Takehiro Tomiyasu (Knee Injury) are all ruled out for the Gunners on matchday 25. Ben White is also not guaranteed to make the matchday squad owing to a knee injury which will give Mikel Arteta plenty of headaches when it comes to selecting his playing XI against Leicester City.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa has certainly made some interesting and bold moves in the winter transfer window. Marco Asensio and Marcus Rashford were two of the biggest incoming players in the Premier League last month. Unfortunately, Ezri Konsa, Ross Barkley, Tyrone Mings, Matty Cash, Ollie Watkins and Pau Torres will not be able to make it to the fixture against Ipswich Town.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth is flying right now and the Cherries have undoubtedly become the team to keep an eye on in the Premier League this term. Julian Araujo, Marcos Senesi, Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra, James Hill, Evanilson, Enes Unal and Adam Smith will not be available for selection at the manager’s disposal on Saturday against Liverpool.

Brentford

Aaron Hickey, Josh Dasilva, Igor Thiago, Gustavo Gomes, Rico Henry, and Mark Flekken will remain on the sidelines for Brentford against West Ham United due to respective injury woes.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton has endured some difficult and inconsistent results lately. The challenging times are still to come with the Seagulls scheduled to face Chelsea on Friday evening. Brighton will have to deal with the absence of Ferdi Kadioglu, Igor Julio, James Milner, Jason Steele, Mats Wieffer, Pervis Estupinan, Solly March, and Yasin Ayari.

Chelsea

Enzo Maresca has witnessed a growing injury list in recent weeks. Omari Kellyman (Hamstring Injury), Marc Guiu (Muscle Injury), Nicolas Jackson (Thigh Injury), Romeo Lavia (Knock), and Wesley Fofana (Hamstring Injury) are all ruled out for the London club. The participation of Benoit Badiashile and David Fofana is also uncertain.

Crystal Palace

Chadi Riad, Cheick Oumar Doucoure, Joel Ward, and Matheus Franca are injured and ruled out for Crystal Palace ahead of matchday 25.

Everton

Everton fans have found a ray of hope with the appointment of David Moyes as the head coach. Armando Broja, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Dwight McNeil, Orel Mangala, Illiman Ndiaye, Seamus Coleman, and Youssef Chermiti will not be able to take part against Crystal Palace on Saturday evening.

Fulham

Harry Wilson, Kenny Tete, and Reiss Nelson will be the only names not available for Fulham on matchday 25.

Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town’s head coach, Kieran McKenna will have to negate the Aston Villa threat without the services of Chiedozie Ogbene, Christian Walton, Conor Chaplin, Sammie Szmodics, and Wes Burns.

Leicester City

Leicester City’s head coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy will have to select his matchday 25 squad keeping in mind the absence of Abdul Fatawu, Harry Souttar, Odsonne Edouard, and Ricardo Pereira with Jamie Vardy and Victor Kristiansen doubtful.

Liverpool

The league leaders fell to a 2-2 draw against city rivals, Everton which prevented them from stretching their lead at the top. Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton are the only two names on the sidelines at the moment. Curtis Jones was shown a red card during the Merseyside derby and will have to serve a suspension.

Manchester City

Jack Grealish and Manuel Akanji suffered serious injury issues during the midweek Champions League tie against Real Madrid and both have been ruled out until mid-March. Youngster, Oscar Bobb, who suffered a horrific leg injury at the start of the season is scheduled to return soon. Ballon d’Or winner, Rodri will remain out until the end of the season. Nico Gonzalez (Thigh Injury), Jeremy Doku (Muscle Injury) and Nathan Ake (Knock) will miss their upcoming fixture.

Manchester United

Ruben Amorim has made some bold and interesting calls so far as the Manchester United boss when it comes to personnel selection. Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Lisandro Martinez, and Jonny Evans will continue to remain unavailable for the Red Devils.

Newcastle United

Daniel Burn (Muscle Injury), Harvey Barnes (Muscle Injury), Jamaal Lascelles (Cruciate Ligament Injury), Joelinton (Knee Injury), Anthony Gordon (Knock), and Sven Botman (Knee Injury) will not be available for selection for Newcastle United ahead of matchday 25.

Nottingham Forest

Not many would have expected Nottingham Forest to be in third place in the Premier League, just 10 points off the summit with less than half of the campaign to play. Nuno Espirito Santo will be glad to have his full squad available for selection barring the presence of Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Southampton

Southampton is currently placed 20th in the Premier League table. Juan Larios (Doubtful), Jack Stephens (Calf Injury), Ross Stewart (Muscle Injury), Ryan Fraser (Physical Discomfort), and Taylor Harwood-Bellis (Ankle Injury) will not be able to participate in matchday 25.

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur and Ange Postecoglou will possess one of the longest injury lists during the matchday 25 of the Premier League 2024/25 season. Brennan Johnson, Cristian Romero, Destiny Udogie, Dominic Solanke, Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Richarlison, Radu Dragusin, Timo Werner, and Wilson Odobert are all battling fitness worries and will not be able to contribute their respective services against Manchester United.

West Ham

Unfortunately for West Ham’s new manager, Graham Potter, his early days at the club have coincided with the onset of plenty of fitness issues. Crysencio Summerville, Edson Alvarez, Jean-Clair Todibo, Lucas Paqueta, Michail Antonio, and Niclas Fullkrug are the names currently on the injury list.

Wolves

Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has received a boost with several players regaining fitness. However, he will still be without the services of Boubacar Traore, Enso Gonzalez, Sasa Kalajdzic, Hwang Hee-Chan, Jorgen Strand Larsen, Leon Chiwome, and Yerson Mosquera due to injury worries.
