As the Premier League’s 2024/25 season reaches Matchday 24, teams are gearing up for crucial fixtures. Arsenal vs Manchester City will headline the upcoming round of fixtures. To help Fantasy Premier League players prepare, here’s a comprehensive update on the injury and availability status of all 20 Premier League teams.

Arsenal

The biggest game to look forward to this weekend will undoubtedly be Arsenal welcoming the champions, Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday evening. The reverse fixture produced a thriller and this time should be no different. Ben White (Knee Injury), Bukayo Saka (Hamstring Injury), Gabriel Jesus (Cruciate Ligament Injury), and Takehiro Tomiyasu (Knee Injury) will not be able to take part. Jesus is scheduled to remain on the sidelines until the beginning of the next campaign at least.

Aston Villa

Ross Barkley sustained a serious calf injury in the FA Cup recently and is now ruled out until early February. Amadou Onana, Matty Cash, and Pau Torres are already sidelined by respective fitness woes.

Bournemouth

Bournemouth is flying right now and the Cherries have undoubtedly become the team to keep an eye on in the Premier League this term. Julian Araujo, Marcos Senesi, Alex Scott, Luis Sinisterra, Evanilson, Enes Unal, Adam Smith, and James Hill will not be available for selection at the manager’s disposal on Saturday against Liverpool.

Brentford

Thomas Frank’s men have already held Manchester City to an impressive draw and will now have a chance to steal further points from another top English club in the form of Tottenham Hotspur. Unfortunately, Aaron Hickey, Josh Dasilva, Ethan Pinnock, Gustavo Gomes, and Thiago Rodrigues are all injured and unavailable.

Brighton & Hove Albion

James Milner, Ferdi Kadioglu, Evan Ferguson, Igor, and, Mats Wieffer are the names currently sidelined by injury issues for Brighton & Hove Albion.

Chelsea

The Blues have completely fallen off the pace in recent times. What was looking like a serious title challenge in November is now turning out to be a real struggle for a top-four place. Enzo Maresca has a lot to deal with at the moment with Benoit Badiashile, Joao Felix, Gabriel Slonina, Romeo Lavia, and Wesley Fofana all ruled out.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace will travel to Old Trafford with a more than outside chance of coming back with the three points. Adam Wharton, Chadi Riad, Cheick Oumar Doucoure, Joel Ward, and Matheus Franca are injured and ruled out.

Everton

Everton fans have found a ray of hope with the appointment of David Moyes as the head coach. Armando Broja, Dwight McNeil, Seamus Coleman, Tim Iroegbunam, and Youssef Chermiti will not be able to take part against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon.

Fulham

Kenny Tete and Reiss Nelson are the only names ruled out due to injury for Fulham ahead of matchday 24.

Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town will face fellow relegation zone participant, Southampton on Saturday afternoon. Chiedozie Ogbene (Achilles Tendon Injury), Conor Chaplin (Knee Injury), and Sammie Szmodics (Strain Injury) will not be a part of the matchday squad.

Leicester City

Leicester City’s head coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy will have to select his matchday 24 squad keeping in mind the absence of Abdul Fatawu, Mads Hermansen, Wilfred Ndidi, and Ricardo Pereira.

Liverpool

Liverpool will head to the Vitality Stadium for a tricky and complex test on Saturday. Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota, and Joe Gomez will unfortunately miss out as they recover from their injuries. Jones and Jota are expected to return to training soon as the Reds gear up for the most crucial part of the season.

Manchester United

Ruben Amorim has made some bold and interesting calls so far as the Manchester United boss when it comes to personnel selection. Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, and Jonny Evans will continue to remain unavailable for the Red Devils.

Manchester City

Newcastle United

Callum Wilson, Harvey Barnes, and Jamaal Lascelles continue to remain on the injury list for Newcastle United. The latter two are scheduled to return at the start of February.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Groin Injury), and Ibrahim Sangare (Hamstring Injury) are the only names scheduled to miss matchday 24 for Nottingham Forest. The English winger’s participation is still uncertain and will be dependent on the green light from the club’s doctors.

Southampton

Gavin Bazunu (Achilles Tendon Injury), Ross Stewart (Calf Injury), Tyler Dibling (Ankle Injury) and Jack Stephens (Muscle Injury) will not be available for Southampton on matchday 24.

Tottenham Hotspur

Ange Postecoglou is enduring an extremely difficult time currently as the head coach of Spurs. His side is just three places above the relegation zone. Recurring injury woes have not allowed the Australian to stick to a consistent playing XI. Brennan Johnson, Cristian Romero, Destiny Uodgie, Djed Spence, Dominic Solanke, Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Timo Werner, and Wilson Odobert are the names currently on the injury list.

West Ham

Graham Potter has taken over the managerial duties at West Ham and has already displayed signs of an encouraging future at the London Stadium. Jarrod Bowen, Jean-Clair Todibo, Michail Antonio, Crysencio Summerville, and Niclas Fullkrug will remain on the sidelines due to their respective fitness woes.

Wolves

Wolves manager Vitor Pereira has received a boost with several players regaining fitness. However, he will still be without the services of Boubacar Traore, Enso Gonzalez, Sasa Kalajdzic, Leon Chiwome, and Yerson Mosquera due to injury worries.
