Injury concerns loom over both Burnley and Brentford ahead of their upcoming clash in FPL Gameweek 29 of the Premier League.

For Burnley, Aaron Ramsey, Lyle Foster, Luca Koleosho, and Nathan Redmond remain sidelined with knee and muscle injuries. Meanwhile, Brentford faces a lengthy injury list, with Ethan Pinnock, Aaron Hickey, Kevin Schade, Rico Henry, Josh Dasilva, and Ben Mee all unavailable due to various ailments. Although Bryan Mbeumo has returned to training following an ankle injury, manager Thomas Frank has hinted at a post-international break return for the winger.

Following their narrow defeat to Arsenal, Brentford encountered fresh concerns as Sergio Reguilon missed out due to a minor hamstring injury, while Christian Norgaard picked up a knock. However, Frank expressed optimism about having both players fit for the Burnley fixture, with Reguilon’s potential return attracting attention from Fantasy Premier League managers. Injury updates for both Luton Town and Nottingham Forest have emerged ahead of their forthcoming fixture in FPL.

Luton Town’s manager, Rob Edwards, addressed the media on Tuesday, revealing that Sambi Lokonga, Joseph Johnson, and Elijah Adebayo remain sidelined due to hamstring issues and illness. The Hatters also continue to miss the services of Amari’i Bell, Dan Potts, Jacob Brown, Mads Andersen, Marvelous Nakamba, and Tom Lockyer, all facing extended absences due to various injuries.

Gabriel Osho, who sustained a knee injury during Saturday’s match, awaits further assessment for a recovery timeline. However, Teden Mengi and Ross Barkley are expected to be fit for the upcoming fixture against Bournemouth despite recent hamstring and nose injuries, respectively.

Nottingham Forest’s Nuno Tavares is set to remain sidelined due to a muscle injury. Meanwhile, Ola Aina and Giovani Reyna are nearing a return to action, with Aina spotted in training and Reyna reportedly travelling with the squad, albeit not participating in the recent match against Brighton.

Gonzalo Montiel, who hasn’t featured since Gameweek 26 due to an unspecified issue, faces further setbacks following his recent return from a hamstring injury, as reported by local media.

Fulham appears to be heading into their clash with Tottenham Hotspur with a relatively clean bill of health. Raul Jimenez, previously sidelined with a hamstring issue, has returned to training and is expected to make a comeback in Gameweek 29, according to manager Marco Silva’s earlier remarks. Meanwhile, Joao Palhinha, who served a two-match ban, is available for selection after being benched in Gameweek 28.

Tottenham Hotspur welcomed back Pedro Porro for their recent victory over Aston Villa, leaving Richarlison, Manor Solomon, Fraser Forster, and Ryan Sessegnon as the only absentees due to various injuries. There has been uncertainty surrounding Richarlison’s recovery timeline, compounded by conflicting statements from manager Ange Postecoglou. However, his recent call-up for Brazil’s March internationals suggests a potential return in Gameweek 29.

Postecoglou is expected to provide further updates on Friday, shedding light on Richarlison’s status. On the Tottenham side, the latest injury concern is Micky van der Ven, who sustained a hamstring injury during the victory over Aston Villa. While the club is yet to release an official statement, sources indicate that the injury is not severe, and van der Ven could return for FPL Gameweek 30.

Fulham Predicted XI: Bernd Leno; Timothy Castagne, Tosin Adarabioyo, Calvin Bassey, Antonee Robinson; Harrison Reed, Joao Palhina; Harry Wilson, Andreas Pereira, Alex Iwobi; Rodrigo Muniz.

Tottenham Hotspur Predicted XI: Guglielmo Vicario; Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Radu Dragusin, Destiny Udogie; Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr; Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison, Brennan Johnson; Heung-min Son.

West Ham United will be monitoring the fitness of Emerson Palmieri ahead of their clash with Aston Villa, after the left-back picked up a groin injury during last Thursday’s defeat to Freiburg. Manager David Moyes stated that Palmieri would continue to undergo assessment leading up to the return leg against the Bundesliga side.

On the other hand, Maxwel Cornet remains sidelined for West Ham due to a hamstring problem.

For Aston Villa, John McGinn will be absent due to suspension following a red card for serious foul play in the previous match. McGinn’s ban will last for three matches.

Additionally, Villa continues to contend with long-term injuries to Boubacar Kamara, Tyrone Mings, and Emi Buendia, all sidelined with knee issues. Jacob Ramsey, who sustained a foot injury during the Gameweek 27 victory over Luton Town, is also unavailable. Although manager Unai Emery mentioned that Ramsey’s injury isn’t severe, he remains sidelined, having missed the recent loss to Spurs and is expected to sit out the UEFA Europa Conference League tie against Ajax on Thursday.

West Ham Predicted XI: Areola; Coufal, Mavropanos, Aguerd, Cresswell; Soucek, Phillips; Kudus, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta; Bowen

Aston Villa Predicted XI: Martinez; Konsa, Torres, Lenglet; Cash, Luiz, Tielemans, Digne; Bailey, Ramsey, Watkins
